At Critical Path Technologies Private Limited (“SalarySe,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to protecting your personal data and upholding your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data when you use our website, mobile application, or other services (collectively, the “SalarySe Platform”).

This Policy is aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

This Privacy Policy shall be deemed to be consider as a valid ‘notice’ for consent for collection of your Personal Information.

I. Collection of Information

Personal Information means and includes all information that can be used to identify a specific individual, but will exclude any information that is available or accessible in public domain.

A. User Provided Information
When you sign up to use the services of SalarySe Platform, it is imperative for us to collect and for you to provide certain information during the registration and creation of the account. For these creation purposes, we may collect following Personal Information:

-  full name, age, gender, email address, phone number, date of birth.
-  employment details such as job title and work location.
-  government-issued identification cards such as PAN Number, whenever legally required.
-  bank account information or Unified Payment Interface (UPI) details for transactions and benefits.
-  any other information you share when contacting support or using SalarySe services.

We trust that you will provide us with only such Personal Information, and you will not suppress any
material information, and provide us only such Personal Information that is verifiably authentic.

B. Information Generated
When you access or use the SalarySe Platform, we may also automatically collect certain information,
which helps us improve functionality, ensure security, and enhance your experience. This includes:

- technical information which includes your IP address, device ID, device type or other identifier, browser information including browser type and version, browser language preference, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, web browser application details, corresponding location details, date and time stamp, operating system, and other technology on the devices you use to access the SalarySe Platform.

- usage information such as your activity within the SalarySe Platform, time spent, referring URL, transaction history, and page views.

C. Information Collected from Third Parties
With your express consent, we may request access for certain Personal Information from third-parties for providing services under the SalarySe Platform and/or for authentication of your information. We may collect such information from the following authorities or organisations:

- credit information report, credit score, including aggregate scores, inferences, references, and details from bureau partners, registered under Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act 2005.

- KYC Records from the Central KYC Registry (CKYCR) by Fintelligence Data Science Pvt Ltd.

- payment partners for verification.

The Personal Information we collect from third-parties shall be solely for the purpose of availing the services of SalarySe Platform. All third-party data collection complies with lawful and contractual obligations.

II. Utilization of Information
The Personal Information we collect shall only be used for lawful purposes and will be in accordance with the applicable Indian laws. Our aim remains to use the Personal Information only for the limited purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.

Generally, the Personal Information we collect is for the purpose of delivering, personalizing, measuring, and enhancing the services offered through the SalarySe Platform. Specifically, we use your Personal Information for:

- for registration and verification of your account and SalarySe account creation and profile creation.

- to carry out credit checks and risk analysis, screenings or due diligence checks as lawfully required by us and detect and protect us against error, fraud, money laundering, and other criminal activities.

- for effectively delivering financial services &; tools available on the SalarySe Platform.

- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations such as disclosure requirements under Indian Laws.

- to improve our services and products, including processing your transactions and other essential internal functions such as software bug troubleshooting, operational problem resolution, data analysis, testing, research, usage and activity trend monitoring, and analysis. The Personal Information utilised for this purpose is anonymised, whenever possible.

- to provide you with personalized offers, including best credit offers, recommendations, and insights with respect to the products and services offered by the SalarySe Platform.

- use data analytics information to monitor, test, and improve our services and app experience.

- We may also process the Personal Information to prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and misuse of your Personal Information, conduct risk assessments and enforce our Terms of Use.

III. Disclosure and Sharing of Data with Third Parties
We may share your Personal Information with third-party service providers, storage providers, data analytics providers, payment gateways, regulators, government authorities, credit partners, auditors, banks, NBFC’s and other financial service providers for the purpose of providing services and tools under the SalarySe Platform. We will ensure that the Personal Information shared and processed by third parties shall be consistent to applicable Indian laws and this Privacy Policy. Such disclosures are made in good faith and belief that it is reasonably necessary to do so for enforcing this Privacy Policy or in order to comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

IV. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service provider’s systems to recognise your browser and capture and remember certain information.

SalarySe Platform uses cookies to help understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contact third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are permitted to use the information collected on our behalf only for the purposes of conduct and improving our business. Additionally, you may encounter cookies or other similar devices on certain pages of the website that are placed by third parties. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties.

You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect functionality of the SalarySe Platform.

V. Security, Storage, and Retention
We understand that your Personal Information is important to you and we are committed to protect your Personal Information. We have enabled reasonable security standards and practices by implementing and adopting appropriate technical and organisational measures to provide maximum security to your Personal Information.

All the Personal Information we collect, and process is stored in encrypted form, accessible only to authorized personnel and credit partners under strict agreements. It is protected by end-to-end encryption (in transit and at rest), enabled with multi-factor authentication and access controls. We also conduct regular [Annually] security audits and vulnerability testing.

Despite our best efforts, no system is entirely secure. Users are advised to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials. In case of any personal data breach, we will promptly assess the impact and take remedial measures, notify the affected users and the Data Protection Board of India, as required under Indian laws, and maintain a record of the incident and corrective actions taken.

All the information related to payment system such as  name, mobile number, email, ID proof , payment sensitive data such as customer and beneficiary account details; payment credentials such as OTP, PIN, passwords, etc; and, transaction data, originating &; destination system information, transaction reference, timestamp, amount, etc. shall be stored in India. If in the event any of the non Personal Information and information referred above are processed outside India, we shall ensure that the country in which it is being processed in has similar or a higher degree of protection.

Retention: All Personal Information collected by the SalarySe Platform or processed by any data processors shall be retained for a period of 8 years unless consent is withdrawn earlier. All Personal Information collected by SalarySe through third parties such as credit bureau data shall be retained for a maximum of 6 months, or until the intended purpose is fulfilled or consent is withdrawn (whichever is earlier)

VI. Consent
By providing your explicit consent to this Privacy Policy, you agree to the collection, use, storage, and processing of your Personal Information in accordance with the terms set out herein and the applicable Indian laws. If you disclose to us any Personal Information relating to other people, you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

You may at any time, withdraw your consent to the collection, use and processing of your Personal Information. Upon withdrawal of your consent, your Personal Information and any information collected in pursuance to this Privacy Policy will be deleted by us and our data processors, within 15 working days from the date of withdrawal of such consent, and all the processing of Personal Information by the SalarySe Platform (and its data processors), shall cease, and SalarySe Platform shall ensure that any processing undertaken by any Data Processor shall also cease.

Please note that you may give, manage, review or withdraw your consent through a consent manager as well. This consent manager shall act on your behalf.

VII. Account Termination
Every user has an option to delete their account on the SalarySe Platform. Upon account deletion or termination, the access to your account and the services of SalarySe Platform will be disabled. All the Personal Information will be deleted and erased from our servers within 15 working days, unless retention is required by Indian laws. We shall also ensure that any Personal Information which is under processing by our data processors shall also be deleted.

VIII. Access, Rectification and Erasure
We value the rights available to you and understand that it is important for you to know who has access to your Personal Information, and how your Personal Information is being used and processed. At any time, you may write to us on support@salaryse.com , requesting for a summary of thePersonal Information which is being processed, what processing activities are undertaken, and which third party has access to your Personal Information, and such other information related your Personal Information and its processing. We will provide you with this information as soon as reasonably possible.

If you believe any of the Personal Information stored by us is incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, and misleading; or if you wish to erase your Personal Information from our systems, you may write to us on support@salaryse.com to erase, correct, or update your Personal Information. Upon receiving your request, we shall ensure that your Personal Information is corrected or erased as requested by you, unless such retention is necessary for the purpose of any applicable Indian laws.

IX. Nomination
We understand that your Personal Information is important to you. This Privacy Policy and the applicable Indian laws provide you with some rights for the collection, processing and use of your Personal Information. You may provide a nominee person for the exercise of these rights in case of death or incapacitation.

X. Children and Person with Disability’s Information
The use of SalarySe Platform is available only to persons who are over 18 years of age. We do not intend to collect the Personal Information from any children below the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18 years or a person with disability, then you must use the Platform or services under the supervision of your parent, legal guardian, or any responsible adult.

In the event any of the Personal Information is collected by us with the valid consent of their parent, legal guardian or responsible adult, we will ensure that the processing of such Personal Information will not cause any detrimental effect on the well-being of a child or the person with disability. No tracking or behavioural monitoring of children or targeted advertising will be directed at children.

XI. Choice/Opt-out
You may at anytime opt-out of receiving any of our services and promotional, marketing-related communications from us, after setting up an account. If you want to remove your contact information from all our lists and newsletters or discontinue any of our services, please click on the unsubscribe button on the emailers.

We will ensure that your complaints are acknowledged and resolved within 7-10 working days from
the date of receipt of the complaint. If your concern is not resolved satisfactorily, you may escalate the
matter to the Data Protection Board of India.

XIII. Modifications to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. Any updates will be communicated through the SalarySe Platform and will carry a “Last Updated” date. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.
